ECO-9100 is a high solids, very small micron size polymer particle composed of high quality acrylic resins, binders and dispersion agents.
ECO-9100 is high in solids content, 55 to 60 percent, and is used for long term or short term control on soil or sand. The product is also used for surface stabilization of Decomposed Granite trails, parkways and median strips. ECO-9100 will not harm plant life.
Uses:
Erosion Control
Wind & Water
Hydroseeding
Dust Control
Hazardous Soils Stabilization
Pathways & Walkway Treatment
Slopes - Rills & Sever Water Damage
Sand Dunes & Habitat Reforestation
ECO-9100 has been used on EPA Superfund Sites for hazardous condition containment. On these sites it has been used for water erosion control, dust and hazardous soil particle stabilization.
ECO-9100 can be used for Hydroseeding and slope erosion control as well as fugitive dust control.
Conditions:
High velocity water erosion will require a high usage per square foot in 2 coats for full protection and long term control at 80 to 200 square feet per gallon coverage. Soil conditions should be considered prior to any applications for specific problem area control. Extreme conditions for specific control applications should be evaluated with the site conditions in mind as well as the desired result and the length of time control is required.
Hazardous conditions for surface particle control may require site evaluation by a qualified Madison representative.
Application: Applications for large areas are made from hydro-seed type equipment, large pressure tank systems and water trucks. Small applications where product is intended to control sever erosion or hazardous dust particles should be made via a hose and spray nozzle or a water truck fitted with adjustable spray nozzles and operated from inside or outside the cab.
Advantages:
High quality Acrylics
Biodegradable
No waste products - 55% to 60% Solids
No Ammonia - No Silicates
Fast set, good penetration
Does not re-emulsify
Usage: EC0-9100 is used with water to deliver the product to the application area. The amount of water required is determined by the applicator. Actual amounts of product to be used per acre should be determined by the user for the specific condition. Madison can only suggest usage/coverage amounts. Large Scale applications may use 110 to 165 gallons per acre.
Coverage Rates: Hydro-seed Cover - 60 to 100 gallons/acre Dust Non-Traffic Areas - 120 to 165 gallons/acre. Heavy Duty Erosion Wind Water and Hazardous Containment is figured per applications and conditions as required by the project engineer.
Packaging: ECO-9100 is available in 275 gallon tote tanks and special ordered smaller amounts, call Madison for details.
1. Site Evaluation & Preparation
Assess Conditions: Inspect the soil or sand conditions before mixing. Determine if you are dealing with flat terrain, slopes, hydroseeding plots, or EPA superfund hazardous soils.
Clear Loose Obstructions: Ensure the treatment zone is graded to the desired slope and clear of large, ungrounded debris that could wash away independently under the polymer crust.
2. Dilution & Equipment Setup
Equipment Selection: For massive scale infrastructure, prepare hydro-seed equipment, large pressure tank systems, or water trucks. For small-scale stabilization or tight slope repair, use a standard utility hose and spray nozzle or a localized water truck with adjustable, cab-operated spray nozzles.
Water Dilution: Mix the 55% to 60% high-solids concentrate with water to achieve the desired viscosity for delivery. The precise water ratio is determined by the applicator based on soil porosity and equipment pressure.
3. Application & Spraying
Standard Coverage Application: Apply the polymer blend evenly across the area using the following targeted delivery volume targets:
Hydro-Seed Plot Cover: Apply 60 to 100 gallons of product per acre.
Non-Traffic Dust Suppression Areas: Apply 120 to 165 gallons of product per acre.
Severe Water Erosion & Slopes (Heavy-Duty): For high-velocity water runoff protection, sand dunes, or rills, plan for a high-density footprint yielding a final coverage of 80 to 200 square feet per gallon.
Two-Coat Requirement: Apply heavy-duty solutions in two consecutive coats to establish a thick, non-re-emulsifying crust layer.
4. Curing & Environmental Safety
Set Time: Allow the acrylic resins to fully flash and set. Once set, the small-micron particles form a permanent, non-toxic surface matrix binder.
Safety Verification: The product is completely safe for adjacent vegetation, sand dune reroofing habitats, and wildlife. It does not contain ammonia or silicates.
Optimus 9200 is a unique formulation of calcium chloride flakes/ crystals/ pellets that are super-enhanced with extenders for long-lasting traction control. 9200 is designed to quickly, safely and effectively tackle frozen snow, sleet and ice in your refrigerated area. 9200 is specially with super-enhanced melting properties to deliver fast and reliable results. 9200 goes to work immediately as it is hygroscopic, it draws moisture from the air and ice, which enables it to work when other de-icers cannot. 9200 generates heat instantly upon contact with snow and ice, thereby accelerating the melting process. Unlike some other products that blend various ice melting ingredients, 9200 is 100% one of the most effective de-icer available.
Generates heat upon contact with ice and snow
Convenient plastic drum for easy storage and extended shelf life
Melts ice and snow down to temperatures of -25°F or -32°C
Last up to 24 hours for log lasting traction control
Safe to use on concrete and vegetation when used correctly or directed
Specifications:
Package Size: 5 gallon drum
Type: Calcium chloride
Lowest Temperature Effective: -25°F or -32°C

1. Area Assessment (Refrigerated & Industrial Facilities)
Temperature Verification: Verify that the floor or storage temperature falls within the effective operating window. Optimus 9200 is specifically designed to function in extreme sub-zero conditions down to -25°F (-32°C).
Safety Attire: Ensure all professional applicators wear standard safety goggles, gloves, and protective footwear in accordance with facility OSHA guidelines.
2. Dispensing & Spreading
Application Style: Disperse the 100% pure calcium chloride flakes evenly over the ice-packed, frosted, or snow-laden surfaces.
Exothermic Activation: The hygroscopic flakes will immediately begin drawing moisture from both the ambient air and the ice matrix. This process instantly generates structural heat upon contact to rapidly break down the frozen mass.
3. Traction Control & Maintenance Window
Traction Longevity: Allow the super-enhanced extenders to continuously anchor onto the floor substrate. The application provides continuous, non-slip traction control for facility wheels, forklifts, and foot traffic for up to 24 hours.
Concrete & Vegetation Check: When applied at the directed rates, the runoff or residual chemistry is completely biodegradable, food-grade, organic, and safe for surrounding structural concrete and outdoor vegetation borders.
4. Drum Resealing & Shelf-Life Management
Airtight Storage: Immediately snap the heavy-duty lid back onto the 5-gallon plastic drum after pulling product. Because the flakes are highly hygroscopic, leaving the drum unsealed will cause the remaining product to absorb ambient facility humidity and liquefy.
Shelf-Life Maintenance: Store the sealed plastic drum on a pallet in room temperature or cool storage conditions.
